Cross training is preparing for two or more sports, usually with the goal of improving fitness and learning new skills or enhancing existing skills used in your main sport. Cross training has been a regular part of human athletic training regimens for years. However, it has not been used extensively with canine athletes. Fortunately, that appears to be changing. It’s not easy deciding what sport to do with our dogs.
